About

Over the past fifteen years, I have lived and worked in Spain, Mexico, and Bolivia. I also studied and worked in France where I earned a Master 1 in Phonetics from Université Sorbonne-Nouvelle (Paris 3) in 2015. I completed my PhD in Linguistics at UC Berkeley in 2020 and spent three years as a postdoctoral fellow in the Center for Comparative and Evolutionary Biology of Hearing at the University of Maryland. I joined the faculty at UCLA as an assistant professor of linguistics in July 2023.

When I'm not in the lab you can find me running, doing Pilates, or reading dystopian feminist fiction.
